Community Outreach Care
As a community outreach we aim to be able to be a outstretched hand in the communities we live in and to help reach the needs to others or help them get connected with the right agencies and with the right relationship with God. Letting people know that God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that His Son came for the sinners not the right ours and that He stretches His hands through us at times to help reach holistic needs of others.
We want to be a church beyond four walls actually mixing and getting involved with what our communities are doing. Last year we found that visiting people who needed prayers and encouragement was helpful to others lifestyle improving and we also provided a meeting place once a week providing food fellowship discussions and teachings and much more. I am personally a passionate person about being the Christ example wherever I am and bringing His peace and love and happiness and joy to whoever needs it and requires it.
We have been reaching out to individuals within the community to the best that we can and also at time providing times of gatherings and fellowship so people who may feel isolated and alone can come and connect with others and increase their confidence and meet new friends. If people can’t come out to our meetings we have visited them where they are willing to meet.
Recently there has been a Bless2bless ministry, Lebert Dawkins is the founder and CEO of blessed 2 blessed deliverance ministry and Janet Dawkins is the CO founder. They believe God has commissioned them to be a blessing to others, they have just launched a community project in Birmingham, offering free tea, coffee, cakes, toast sandwiches and a warm cosy family living room feel to the cafe. It is situated in Birmingham, near five ways Broad Street, unit 7 the square, B15 1AS.
They have a food bank and frozen meat also to hand out to those in need in this area. Please make contact or come along on a Saturday 9-5 pm for a free tea chat fellowship and family connections and encouragement. Bring someone or recommend someone. If you would like to donate or volunteer please contact brother Lebert on 07825740069.
Recently a homeless man came in we were able to feed him a plate of hot food tea drinks and let him know we are their every Saturday to help in any way. It warmed our heart that we could be there to help those in need who are hurting. Besides the physical help they offer pray and guidance and support also.
